Department of quantitative methods and economic theory
Since its inception in September 2011, the QM&ET Department attempts to solve the two main challenges of any University Department, the combination of a fruitful research activity with the development of a high quality teaching task.
From a research perspective, the QM&ET members present their work in the main international conferences of their respective specialties. As a consequence, their papers achieve high standards, as shown by the impact of the attained results.
The QM&ET Department publishes a working paper series, indexed by RePEc, which introduces the main preliminary findings of our researchers.
From an educational perspective, the QM&ET Department is responsible for some subjects, mainly related to Economic Theory and/or Quantitative Analysis, in Economics, Business Administration and the Publicity and Public Relationships degrees, without forgetting the Business Administration-Law combined degree, at the University of Alicante.
